Stop Motion Video - The Box

 
We've set up a camera on the tripod and pointed it at the clay to keep it steady as we take pictures.
With each modification made to the clay (subtle ones), we would take a picture, totaling around 274 pictures which will be converted into a moving image (video) at 24 frames per second (FPS) giving
us a clip of 11 seconds which was exported to 1080p .mov file.


Digital Animation - The Box



For the digital version, I used Adobes After Effects. First, I've created a black box outside of the frame, then key-framed the starting position of it. With every next move i would key-frame the position of the box. Once I'm done with positioning, I would go back to the first frame and do the same thing with the rotation.
